Shade Painting

In the Shade Paintings I experiment with adding a bit of black to any given color, producing a "shade" rather than the "tint" that would result with the addition of white. In doing this i was surprised to see how strongly a touch of black could intensify the body color. These small works are arranged in Groups of six or four while a few remain singular. Later Groups will be the result of color/black with white.
