Late Roman Painting

I selected pigments that would have been common in Pompei before its fall for a 1976 room installation at P.S. 1. Here I again referred to Pompei examining reproductions of those Wall Paintings, choosing hues I wanted, mixing pigments with white creating a pastel color, a tint, painted on small canvases.
