Fresco Painting
Here I was inspired by the fresco colors of Piero della Francesca, sky and earth colors generally. Again I divided the canvas to paint one side of each with a lighter or darker mix of indigo, and the other with an earth color in a small brush. The indigo was flat, but the earth color in a glaze medium was transparent revealing the small vertical brush strokes.
